Set of 4 plates made and hand-decorated in Manises in the early 20th century. They have been in my family for 4 generations.

Some dishes have crazing in the glaze. This is what happens when earthenware ages: the clay expands over time and the glaze does not always keep pace. The micro-fissures are superficial. They do not affect use or hygiene.
